Two days ago was my birthday, I asked my family for two "Speaka" speaker kits to make some speakers for our study. Also, I asked for a mini amplifier (Dynavox CS-PA1), to be able to connect them to our computers. (I asked (and got) more things, I will present and describe/review something else in another post.) I'll let the pictures speak for themselves:

I'll write a short review after I've built the speakers, I won't be using the amp before then. (I have of course tested it; with small bookshelf Infinity speakers, I was quite impressed with the quality of the sound. Lets hope the speakers I'll be building myself sound that good...) I've wanted one of these for quite a few years now, and I finally bought one: A mirror lens for on my Canon EOS 20D:

This one is a Vivitar 500mm f8 mirror lens. The diaphragm is fixed, so it'll always be f8. One more pic and a comparison with the Canon 50mm MKII lens after the jump.
